Side frame - one of the main structural elements of the bogie framework of the model 18-100. It is manufactured by casting, with additional machining and riveting of wear-resistant plates. Side frame, drawing No.1750.00.002, represents a major piece of a freight wagon bogie, which transmits the load on the axle through the axle box. Cast alloy steels 20GFL and 20GL.

 

Bolster drawing No.1750.00.001 serves as a bridge between the two side frames in the construction of a freight wagon bogie.To ensure reliability and durability the bolster is casted from steel 20GFL or 20GL.One of the main frame details of a bogies framework model No.18-100.
